SUPER CUTE DIY HOSTESS GIFT

Today we have this super easy and adorable DIY hostess gift for you. Every woman likes to receive flowers, but this little cutie has a slight twist. We have gorgeously wrapped a herb plant, instead of the usual flower, in hessian and added a cute tag.

The really cool idea about this is that the hessian actually works as a pretty flowerpot. You attain this by putting the herb pot into a plastic bag before you wrap it up. This way it will still hold water.

NOTE: The size of the hessian will depend on your size of herb plant. You can get an approximate size, by looking at the first 'how to' picture.

Have a great weekend.

ZIPPERED JARS

Hello everyone, hope you are having a great week so far?
We have this little fun project for you, which can take on any color and pattern of your choice.

So we decided to dress up a couple of utensil jars, with some leather and a zipper. The reason for this choice of fabric was that I, Annika, have this thing about a 50's cream color in my kitchen and that happened to be the exact color of that piece of scrap leather we had laying around.

Pretty easy to make, just measure your jar and cut a piece of fabric in that size and attach a zipper for closing. You can of-course use any fabric you like, I would actually love to see this one in some kind of pastel color fabric with flowers. Would look super cute.

Have a great day!

EASTER LEFTOVERS

Sometimes I have a hard time putting away all the Easter decor right away. Like this little fluffy fella', he is just to cute to store. So he got his own little special place in the sun.

Have a lovely weekend.

HAPPY EASTER

We want to wish you all a happy Easter and we hope you enjoy your days off with family and friends and lots of good food.
I'm going to Aarhus, my hubby's hometown, to visit his folks and have Easter dinner. It's always so nice to visit them, lots of talk and good food.

Today I have this little cutie for you. Sussi did this embroidery with yarn on linen, from one of my many little sketches. It turned out super. Love the idea of embroidering with thick yarn.

It's hanging on my wall now and I think it'll stay there for at least another month. I guess I'll have to extend my Easter this year :)

May you all have a fabulously colorful Easter.
